About Us!

In 2017, the idea for the Rusty Barn started to slowly take shape.  Jo's Husband "Rusty" is involved heavily in a couple different business' and was excited to bring his business knowledge and experience together with Jo's creativity and develop something special that will allow Jo to live our her dream of owning and operating a craft store.  In 2020, We purchased a 6 acer property in Rural Muscatine County which became the perfect setting for turning Jo's dreams into reality.  As the days click away, Jo continues to work at creating the Rusty Barn Brand with new products regularly.

Now Jo is certainly an "Old Soul."  She was raised right and learned from her Mom and Grandparents that there is just something special about taking the time to do things yourself.  Grow your own fruits and vegetables.  Make your own things.  Use 100% Natural Products.  So Jo will frequently be seen around the homestead churning butter.....making homemade apple pie filling....tending to her garden or gathering eggs from her chicken coop.  

As we continue to enjoy the simple things in life, we count our blessing daily, and are very thankful that we have an opportunity to bring these products to you.  For now, we only have Rusty Barn Products available here online, but we are shooting for the Rusty Barn Country Store Opening on October 12th & 13th 2024.  Some things to be offered in the store will be:
